Ground floor apartment located in the Historic Centre of Venice in the Cannaregio Sestiere, an authentic and less touristy area rich in typical venues and very convenient to the main Venetian terminals (Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia Station). The apartment consists of a living area with kitchen and living room with sofa bed, two bedrooms and two shower bathrooms. Magnificent garden of about 70 square metres (shared with the adjacent apartment but with a private table). Upon request 1 additional bed (sofa bed). Maximum capacity 5 people. Trip of a lifetime

We stayed at this property for several nights of our trip. Both showers were too small to actually get a good shower and one was missing one of the doors. The en-suite bath was very moldy. The out side seating area was not attached to the garden courtyard that is pictured.

Tucked-away Treasure

I chose this apartment after the first one I'd reserved fell through, 17 days before my planned vacation with friends. Four of us were very comfortable in this ground-level (we have some joint issues, being women of a certain age) apartment nestled off the busy shopping and restaurant zones, but near enough to be easily found after a vaporetto ride. Communication (email and phone) was perfect, and even gave us explicit instructions on how to find not only the apartment, but also the vaporetto location and stop that would take us from the airport to the apartment itself. The only three things that were not 100% were: The ensuite shower had mold in the corner, which we tried to clean out -- it was entrenched. The shower off the twin bedroom only had 3/4 of the door -- and it's VERY small! We had the challenge of keeping the water in the stall -- and forget about bending over to pick up a dropped item! We had to exit the shower and then pick it up! But it was do-able, and wouldn't keep us from staying there again. Finally, dish towels would have been helpful, plus paper towels. We bought handsoap for the bathroom sinks before the small bar soaps were provided by the staff. We loved our location and accommodations!
