About this property
Bradwell Derbyshire Peak District Cottage ❤️ Dogs
About this space
Rambler Cottage was completely renovated in the summer 2019. We think it is about 200 years' old with lots of character. The cottage is situated in a conservation area of Bradwell in the rolling hills of Hope Valley, Peak District National Park. The village and surrounding areas are breathtaking. Castleton is a 30 minute walk away or 5 minute car drive where you will find the infamous Mam Tor.
You won't fail to have a relaxing holiday here, unwind and recharge those batteries.
The space
You are booking the whole cottage with a private garden front and back. You will have your own key to come and go as you please and unless you want to see me you won't be bothered your entire stay. There are two double bedrooms, 2nd is a double bed but classed as small double.
There is a log burner in the lounge for cooler nights and the cottage has central heating.
The kitchen is fully fitted with all the gadgets
Guest access
You have the lot during your stay
Other things to note
There is a lovely wooded walk behind the cottage where you can let Fido off the lead, a rare thing around these parts due to the shear volume of sheep

About the host

My background is hospitality having worked for hotel chains all around the world. I love my 3 Springer Spaniels and of course my very tolerant husband! I want you to have the best time whilst you’re staying with me, your holidays are very important.
Why they chose this property
The Peak District is one of the UKs hidden secrets really, sometimes over looked for The Lake District/ Yorkshire Moors or Welsh Mountains, we can hold our own for breathtaking scenery, lengthy hikes and very pretty villages. So much to see and do here, 3/5/7 night stays you will all want to come back. We are in the middle of England, perfect base for visiting the rest of the uk
What makes this property unique
Bradwell is a beautiful village, amazing scenery and very quiet due to Castleton stealing the show (next village along) Rambler Cottage is an old farmers cottage, small but perfectly formed. We lovingly renovated it 4 years ago, reinstalling a wood burner (along with central heating) It is such a pretty cottage, we absolutely love it
