Cosy cottage for two updated for 2023 with open plan kitchen lounge diner, with sweeping views of the Vale of Allen area of outstanding natural beauty. WiFi and smart TV, bluetooth speaker, washer/dryer. Comfortable double bedroom with en-suite walk in shower, additional separate toilet. Private garden with patio furniture. Ample dedicated parking for two vehicles to the front.
This converted 1930s telephone exchange commands far reaching views towards Badbury Rings hill fort. A single level building with easy access, it includes its own dedicated parking with enough space for two cars. The outside space also includes a private garden with patio table and chairs to the rear.

The property has been recently renovated to a high standard for the 2023 season and decorated throughout in muted tones of greys and greens. The front half of the property comprises an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a breakfast bar and bar stools or a folding table and chairs for more formal dining. The lounge has a comfy sofa and armchair with smart TV and bluetooth speaker.

To the rear of the property is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom including a large walk in shower. There is an additional separate WC and a washer dryer.

Old exchange

Lovely property for a person travelling alone or with a partner. Beautiful views out of the windows. On arrival it was lovely and warm. Bed was very comfortable and the walk in shower was a treat

Great property for a single or a couple

Well designed conversion which was smart, clean and well equipped with all we needed. Good storage compared to some properties we've rented, though an empty shelf in one of the kitchen cupboards would have been a bonus for storing non-fridge foods. and multiple sockets with USB ports

Hi! We are Pete and Sarah and live next door. We have rented out The Old Exchange since we first moved to Dorset 20 years ago we have hosted global and local travellers including amateur historians, geologists, orchid hunters, walkers, cyclists, National Trust fans and honeymooning couples.

Dorset and the New Forest has provided us with many memorable day trips, and beautiful walks with our family. We are more than happy to make suggestions of places to go or things to do. We also enjoy good food and Dorset is blessed with many local producers and fabulous restaurants. We haven't finished yet and love finding out about new places to visit from our guests!
