Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Laundry room with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer (coin operated, shared with other properties on-site).. Terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. 23-acre natural grounds with woodland (shared with other properties on-site). Hot tub for 2 (private). Bike store (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. Electric vehicle charging point. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the grounds, 800 yards away.. Osprey Lodge is on the fringe of the northern part of the Lake District National Park and set within a small campsite. This detached lodge looks across open meadows and towards the Solway Coast. The lodge has been presented to a very good standard, with an open plan living space with large comfortable sofa and wood burner, a kitchen area with everything you should need, including a dishwasher, and a choice of whether to dine inside or al fresco on the balcony to take in the views. The double bedroom has a comfortable kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. Recline in the bubbling waters of the hot tub, unwind in front of the warm fire or lie down on the sumptuous bed, whatever you choose, you will enjoy your stay.
The grounds of Wallace Lane Farm extend to unspoilt 23 acres of meadows and stunning views, perfect to take an evening stroll or early morning walk before breakfast. Nearby Calbeck Fells are famous for adventure and beauty, whilst a little further and you are in the Lake District town of Keswick, a haven for walkers and shoppers alike. The Solway Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Scottish hills, and is perfect for bird spotting or enjoying an ice cream. Beach 17 miles. Shop and restaurant 5 miles, pub 5½ miles.
Osprey Lodge can be booked together with Woodpecker Cottage (CC119136), Nuthatch Cottage (CC119138), Kestrel Cabin (UK1246), Farmhouse Cottage (UK1285), Safari Tent (UK1286), Barn Owl Bothy (UK1366), Curlew (UK1389), Lapwing (UK1390), Merlin’s Cabin (UK1391), Robins Lodge (UK13643) and Starling Lodge (UK31071) to accommodate up to 53 guests.
