The warm and welcoming lounge has a Smart TV, comfortable sofa, easy chair, and dining table with views across Keswick facing south west for the afternoon and evening sun.

The kitchen may be compact but is well equipped for your holiday. A small hallway gives access to the shower room. The east facing bedroom dressed with luxury linen and towels has beautiful views across the river Greta and Fitz park. The delightful sound of the river running past the building can be heard through the open bedroom window.

Short break in Keswick

Absolutely perfect for 2 people and our dog. Very modern, comfortable and clean. Car parking at the front and 5 mins walk to centre of Keswick.

Our happy place

This is our 4th stay at Gretaside, and it was excellent as usual. The position of the flat is excellent for going off walking all day, returning home either via the chip shop for a lazy night in, or coming home, getting changed and going for a night out in Keswick. Unfortunately there is a slight issue with a leaky kitchen window, which has got worse since our last visit, but it doesn’t spoil our stay, or put us off returning, but it does look a little unsightly. But we have stayed in other properties around Keswick (including another flat in the Gretaside block) and this is by far the best flat. Can’t wait to return.

Great location

Small apartment in a great location. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by black mould on the bedroom wall with a really strong smell of damp. Pity as it could be so much better with some TLC.

A fantastic Festive Stay!

We stayed over Christmas at Gretaside and the added touches of the Christmas tree and decorations alongside a Christmas card really made us feel welcome! The property was clean and had everything we needed during our stay, the location is perfect for exploring Keswick by foot! The view from the bedroom can’t be beaten! The shower could be upgraded very low water pressure but apart from that the property has been decorated and modernised recently. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Great location

Great location for a mini break away. Very short walk to town centre for shops, pubs/restaurants etc. amazing proximity to the lake, short drive if you would like to tackle Scafell Pike. Nice size apartment on second floor for two people and a dog

Beautifully located apartment

Small but big enough for 2 adults and in a lovely location overlooking the river & park. Clean & well kept with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Fantastic location with good parking. Small apartment but had everything we needed ….would benefit from a little TLC but nothing major and would stay again

Enjoying Keswick the right way

Our stay at Gretaside was super convenient. The flat has just everything a couple needs and is situated right next to a cosy river. Very romantic!

A lovely stay

Very central position. Added bonus was parking outside property. Flat is quite small but adequate for a short break as a couple with small dog. Only real gripe we were unable to use one wardrobe as vacuum cleaner was stored in wardrobe.

Perfect apartment

Amazing place located on the very edge of town perfect for all the shops and pubs, very quite and homely, we would highly recommend this place and would definitely book again.

Great location

A small tidy flat but sufficiently big enough for two in a cosy bed. Great location with spacious parking. Definitely recommend.

lovely cottage in centre of Keswick

The booking process was easy. The info provided by Keswick Cottages regarding location, parking and key entry was all clear and easy to understand. The Gretaside accommodation was clean and well presented and everything in it was a high standard. The welcome pack and dog treats were a lovely touch. Its a very central property but also nice and quiet, only the sound of the river babbling away in the background. I'd happily book with Keswick Cottages again or recommend to friends.

Perfect Base for a Relaxing Week in the Lakes

A fantastic week’s stay again at Gretaside Apartment in Keswick. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable — it felt like a real home-from-home. The bed was especially comfy after long days walking, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and a well-stocked kitchen. The location is ideal — just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, but in a quiet and peaceful spot with beautiful views of the surrounding fells. We had no problem with parking, and it was a great base for exploring the Lake District. Communication with the host was excellent — everything was clear and easy from booking to check-in. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, convenient place to stay in Keswick.

Perfect Keswick base with no parking worries.

Brilliant experience

We had a short but very enjoyable stay in this excellent accommodation. Keswick was amazing and we also explored Ambleside and took the boat down Windermere to Bowness. On the two brief occasions I spoke to staff they were professional, proficient and very personable and, need I say it, helpful. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Gretaside

The apartment was great , small but ideal for 2 and a dog . It was very clean and the welcome packs were much appreciated . The location was superb , central and not far from the beautiful park. The fact it had a parking space was very useful too. We wouid definitely recommend Keswick cottages as a booking agent , the digital guidebook and their customer service was excellent , we would definitely book via them again .

Our short break in Keswick

The apartment was excellent. Very clean and comfortable and the location for the town was great as just a few minutes walk. Also, we have a dog and the location of Fitz Park (behind the apartment) was great and again only a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend this for a couple.
