About this property

Cosy Seaside Cottage sleeps 6 pets welcome

Cooden Cottage was built in the 1920's in the beautiful seaside town of Bexhill-on-sea. Situated only 2 minutes from the beach, our holiday cottage is designed to be a home from home - with a few added luxuries!
We can accommodate up to 6 guests (and pets too!), with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a downstairs loo and two reception rooms.
Our lovely outside space is a large enclosed garden with a lawned area and outside dining area and patio, accessed from the beautiful sun room on the back of the cottage.
Cooden Cottage is a 15 minute walk from two local train stations, a 2-5 minute walk to the beach, and a 30 minute walk into town. We have a stairlift installed to support those with mobility needs. This is only available with request upon booking.

Great long weekend stay!

Spacoius, well-equipped property. Thoughtful details, welcome goody bag, safe space for children and dog. Ideal location for exploring the Hastings area. We stayed on a warm weekend in April and so the hot tub and bbq were welcome bonuses!

Good accommodatiion, tidy and clean and a nice garden for our dog too. Great eco- friendly body washes; handwash and cleaning products. Host Ella was great at communicating with us. Thank you ☺️

Wonderful house by the sea

Had a wonderful stay at the property. The property owners have an eye for detail to make you feel at home. Fresh flowers and a goody bag surprised us. The property is tastefully decorated and one of the cleanest places we have rented from. There was plenty of space for a family or extended family. There was plenty of supplies likes dish washer tabs, soaps and towels. There was plenty of games and books for kids to keep busy between activities.It is very close to the beach, about 5 min even with small kids walking. Would definitely stay again if we are heading back to the area.

Lovely cottage close to everything. Accurate online description.

We managed to her trip the breaker with her multi outlet adapter. The hosts were there within minutes to fix the problem. Lovely hosts, lovely cottage. Thank you so much for the welcome bag full of goodies. It came in handy and was a lovely surprise. I would definitely add some hooks for coats, and various other things in the entryway just to avoid piling up wet things. We hope to be back soon!

Why they chose this property

Cooden is a beautiful part of Bexhill situated on the South coast, having grown up in the area I know it has a lot to offer and is a fantastic holiday location.

What makes this property unique

It is a classic 1920's cottage, with some modern luxuries! You can enjoy an indulgent bath in the soaking tub, or get comfy watching a movie on our smart TV in the lounge, whilst being surrounded by the original features and character from when it was originally built.
