The living areas in this first-floor apartment consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a slimline dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and a single, along with a shower room. Outside there is private patio with furniture, as well as parking for one car available. Within 0.2 miles you will find both a shop and a pub and within 0.7 miles, a lake and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Betty’s Loft is a lovely escape for a memorable getaway in Cumbria. The other famous Hawkshead enthusiast, William Wordsworth, attended the Old Grammar School in 1779-87, which still stands today, and you can visit the building where the Lakeland poet developed his love of the form, and even see the desk into which he scratched his name as a small boy! Newby Bridge is ten miles away and offers attractions such as the Aquarium of the Lakes and Windermere Lake Cruises, sailing daily between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.
