Property was as described. Little disappointed that the patio doors didnt open onto the terrace, this was at the back of the lodge, which could do with a bit of a clean as a lot of cobwebs. The dining table seats could do with being recovered as they were quite gubby. The park itself is nothing special and lacked character but all in all a handy place to explore the Lake District

A lovely clean lodge in a very good location with lots of stuff to do with the kids a short drive away. Only gripe was that the wifi was poor at the lodge, other than that a very pleasant stay and would certainly return!

Lovely lodge, had everything we could need and more. Would 100% stay here again in the future. Excellent communication from owner and easy check in. Shame facilities weren't open due to covid as the bar area looked nice but I am sure they will be soon.

We had a lovely stay at lakeside 15, the lodge was perfect for us and good value for money, it was 2 minutes from the lake and 5 minutes to reception and clubhouse. We will definitely be back.

Great weather for ducks!

Property was excellent, spacious, warm and well fitted out. The weather was exceptionally wet, even for Lake District standards, but still found plenty to keep the grandkids happy.

Family Lakes visit

Fantastic from start to finish - as soon as we had booked Penny was in touch and kept us updated on a regular basis and was always there to support. The lodge is lovely and in a beautiful setting, fully equipped with everything that you could ever need. Thank you and we will be back!

Overall impressions but a few niggly things with the lodge. Lakeside was central to all areas and easy to get to, bus stop outside of resort and they were very frequent

Excellent location, bus stops outside. All famous location easily accessible without a car.

There were problems with central heating and took two days to resolve but our host Penny got the issue solved as soon as she could and was easily available. It did not deter and we were able to travel easily and left key in safe. The property was excellent and the site immaculate and reception very helpful

Amazing

This property is amazing, located a 2 min walk from the lake and 5 min walk to the clubhouse. The property is spacious and well equipped, with some things that weren’t listed but was actually there like hair dryer and washing machine. We couldn’t fault it, we go to white cross bay every year but this is our first time at this lodge, we will be back!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location. The cabin is comfortable. Our issue is the internet. It would not connect. The management at White Cross Bay, who are responsible for the wifi/internet, said that it’s not guaranteed to work because of the location. Also, the towels all smelled awful. (musty) We enjoyed the patio and the pool for our grandsons. It’s a lovely holiday spot.

The host was very accommodating and helped immediately with whatever we needed. The house was super clean, well organised, cozy and comfortable. It had all kitchen facilities one could need, extra supplies, clear instructions on using wifi/heating etc, and had a beautiful entrance exterior. The only thing I did not like was the huge spider web outside the main house door and windows so it got me a bit conscious at night.

After visiting the Lake District for the past 14 years I was fortunate to have purchased Lakeside 15 in May 2016. I class the Lakes as my second home, I absolutely love the scenery, tranquility and the surrounding areas of the Lake District. I live in Wiltshire and work full but visit the lodge on a regular basis, to maintain and deep the lodge. It is very important to me the lodge is kept up to a high standard for guests to enjoy thier stay.
I want to share with you what I have enjoyed over the years visiting the Lake District. I welcome any constructive feedback and would be very grateful if you could take the time to give me your reviews.

Why they chose this property

When I was looking to buy a lodge I went up to look at 3 in total. When I looked at this one I knew it was the one, the sun was shining through the patio doors as we entered, the room was bright, sunny and open planned. You could see the Lake out of the twin bedroom window, it just felt right. It is a 2 minute walk to the marina and picnic area. I think the combination of the spacious open planned lodge and being so close to the Lake closed the deal for me.
The property is in an ideal spot to chill out and enjoy your stay, in a great location.
You can return after a full days adventures, activities, walking, shopping to simply relax and cosy up in the lodge, or sit outside on the surrounding decking for alfresco dining. It is close to adventure out in the evening to one of the local towns, with many restaurants or pubs to choose from. Bowness (my favourite place) has plenty of places to eat and drink. Whatever you choose to do, I know you will have a fantastic time.
