We moved to West Somerset from London in 2016. We tamed the garden and built the studio using local larch from a mill in Martock, Somerset; then we started on the house renovation.
The studio is double-glazed and fully insulated from top to bottom; this was my special place to craft and create in comfort all year round with windows on three sides to bring in as much light as possible.
The studio was converted to a self-contained holiday space in September 2022 and has been described as “a hidden gem” and “a fairy place”.
Although this is in the garden, this is your space; I treat guests as I like to be treated when I travel - I am hands-off but here if you need something or advice.
