Stayed here on my own , family in a different unit on the park, the owner left good instructions for the chalet and it was comfortable and everything you need, had one small problem that was fixed swiftly.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in 5 Bucklands at Bideford Bay Holiday Park.
Thank you for leaving the chalet in good order too. Welcome back anytime.
Great location and near the shopping mall with Asda, Lidl, Aldi , Clark’s etc. Near enough to Bude to visit the beachs. The family park has swimming with indoor and outdoor pools. There is also a good play area for the kids. So great for keeping them active. Only downside was photos did not do the place justice. Only downsides are no wifi in the chalet and no towels supplied. Apart from that would visit again.

Many thanks for your great review of the 5 Bucklands chalet and we are delighted that you all so enjoyed your stay there. Welcome back anytime!
Mouldy, cold and charged extra fees.We were initially pushed back 2 days from our intended arrival date because apparently the cleaner hadn't prepared the property. Not a good start and it got worse.Upon arrival we found mould and there was even a suspicious light brown stain as well. The lodge is really draughty and cold so we were wearing lots of layers inside and the cold combined with using the bathroom led to more mould. We didn't want to argue or kick up a fuss so made do.There was no WIFI so that might be a dealbreaker for people. The lodge is far from the main park building so not in range of the WIFI there. After leaving we were accused of making the place disgusting and they charged 50 extra for cleaning despite there already being a cleaning fee included. They attached photos of the toilet bowl which didn't even have any poo on the pan and photos of the mat because it needed a vacuum to remove some leaves. (There was no vacuum provided). Apparently the cleaners wanted us to do their job for them! (Although I expect they just fancied some double pay.)I'd avoid, there's better options in the park.
