Beautiful, Modern Cottage, A Stone's Throw Away From The Water's Edge

Milverton is a fabulous cottage, newly extended and completely renovated to an exceptional standard in 2012.During 2022/23 we have given the cottage a completely new makeover, redecorated throughout, some new kitchen units and new Neff appliances, showers revamped, new bedroom blinds, new sofa and new Smart tv, new garden gate etc and so it’s looking even better than ever! The setting of the cottage is second to none, wonderfully positioned, just a stone's throw away from the Menai Straits. The cottage is located in a quiet, peaceful area, with restaurants, pubs, picturesque footpaths and cycle paths and a range of water sports nearby.

From Jan 2014 we have decided to do a 3 month trial of guests being allowed to bring one small well behaved dog with them in Jan, Feb and March and depending on how it goes will then decide if we make it a permanent feature!

Milverton is a comfortable, fully equipped, relaxing cottage with fantastic views. The four bedroom accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms, both with stunning views of the Straits, two single bedrooms. It also contains 2 bathrooms, with 2 showers and 1 bath, a kitchen, living room and dining room.

The living room has large French doors opening out into the garden, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent views from both inside and out. There is also gas coal effect fire to keep you cosy in the evenings.

The light and sunny cottage faces South East and is set in its own garden. The garden has its own glass wall to ensure optimum views and includes an eating area, allowing you to have a meal or enjoy a few drinks in front of the fantastic view.

We had a short break in Menai to see our son who is at University in Bangor. The cottage is in an absolutely stunning setting under the fabulous Menai bridge. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. Located close to all the shops and pubs. Unfortunately, due to the biblical non stop rain we didnt get to explore much.

A wonderful location with ever changing views of the Menai Straights. Good sized, very well equipped accommodation. The host gave detailed descriptions of places to visit and the history of the accommodation. I thoroughly recommend this place to stay.

Stunning location
