Unfortunately the check-in process was awful! We arrived late (after midnight) and the directions for using the code on the lock box were less than helpful. Long story short, it took 90 minutes and many phone and text messages to get some 'in person' help. Three young adults appeared, only one spoke some English, and none of them could open our lockbox either. One finally produced a master key and thankfully another apartment was available in the same rental unit (though it was up a very dark hallway and three flights of narrow stairs!). Finally we were inside, but not OUR rental. I told them that we had an early (6:30am) full day tour scheduled for the following day and that we would be unable to move until the end of the day AND the lockbox issue with our rental unit was resolved. When we returned from our tour at 8:30pm we were still unable to open the lockbox. The following day was also busy with events (please note, we are on VACATION and did not plan on spending time inside our rental!). Finally, after convincing them that the lockbox would NOT open they sent a maintenance person. There were two sets of keys in the lockbox and one of them had been jamming the slide to open the lockbox. PLEASE, if you use this apartment be careful when returning the keys so the next person doesn't have this problem. Finally, after two nights, we were able to move into our original apartment. Beware, hallways are dark and narrow stairs. It is quiet and close to attractions.
