Welcome to The Burrow, a fantastic former farm building which has been lovingly renovated to accommodate up to six guests over three spacious bedrooms. The far-reaching views look out onto the Vale of Pewsey, an area renowned for its scenic, rural landscape.
The Burrow includes all amenities needed for families to enjoy a fun, self-catering holiday in Wiltshire, including an indoor heated pool, games room and open plan living area with log burner, freeview TV and broadband included during your stay. Relax with friends and family around the dining table, after cooking up a storm in the modern fully kitted kitchen.
Three spacious bedrooms await, bedroom one the master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and garden views. The second bedroom comprises two full sized single beds, with the third bedroom including two zip link single beds that can be configured into a kingsize on request. Guests have use of one family bathroom with a shower over bath, WC, basin and a shower and changing area in the swimming pool.
Exploring footpaths from the farm that will take you to such places as Birch Copse, Bedwyn Brail, Chute Forest and more. The area is a wildlife haven with the regular meeting of parliaments of Hares, and a paradise for bird watchers with plentiful birds of prey and Barn Owls soaring high.
The market town of Marlborough is a short 10-minute drive away and is host to a fabulous array of independent shops and eateries. Within an hours drive you can reach prehistoric sites such a Stonehenge, Avebury, Roman Baths and Salisbury Cathedral.
The Burrow can be booked in conjunction with the second cottage on site, The Warren to host a larger group of up to 13.
Please note when booking:
- An initial bag of logs for the log burner is provided on arrival.
- The cot and highchair are provided on request only. Cot bedding is not provided.
- The swimming pool, games room and outdoor spaces are shared between guests at The Burrows and The Warren.
- Smoking is not permitted at this property.
- Guests are asked to bring their own towels for the swimming pool.
- Up to two well behaved pets are welcome during your stay.
