The property location was perfect for what we wanted. However considering check in was at 4pm we assumed it would’ve been cleaned to a higher standard. There were cobwebs, stains on bedside tables and the bed linen. Multiple cupboards wouldn’t shut fully and felt like they may fall off. Not the most comfortable bed but it did the job. Sadly the biggest let down was the shower. The shower hose where the head connected had almost snapped off, which meant you had to hold it to shower otherwise you’d just be cleaning the wall…
its just a little walk and you are at the biggest lake in england. then drive for like 10 to 15 minutes and you are at the kirkstone pass, park your car in the parking and hike with lake windmere views. we were blessed with sunny days and its just all so heavenly. i stayed in atlantis the palm dubai 4 times but this place is my most favourite in the entire world. by the way place is good little stop with old home feeling in a good way. you gonna have to play with couple of buttons for hot water or to turn the induction stove thingy in the kitchen but they gave instructions very nicely and labeled the buttons. for the induction its one big red switch on the wall left of the kitchen bin. its cozy little lovely place and if ur not a DIVA you not gonna find anything negative. only took pics of the area and forgot to take of the property but it looks the same in the advert pics...!
