Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electric, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot.. Sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. Visit England 3 Star. No smoking. Please note: There are steep stairs at the property, with a multi-level landing. . This traditional Lakeland cottage is set in a quiet backwater of Bowness-on-Windermere, only a short stroll from a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants, with Lake Windermere and the famous steamers within a five minutes walk. Comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated throughout, Pear Tree Cottage is a wonderful holiday retreat at any time of the year, with a wealth of opportunities for those wishing to sample the wonderful walks this part of the Lakes is famous for.

Well placed in the town handy for all amenities. A comfortable cottage to relax in after a long walk. Centrally placed for lots of entertainment or just to sit around outside and ( people watch ).

Excellent location , very clean and well equipped .

Excellent location , very clean and well equipped . Private parking space which is very difficult to find in bowness . Only downside is the very small bathroom , the shower cubicle is far too big for the room . Otherwise I would give it 5 stars !!

Lovely cottage ideally situated,clean and well equipped. Parking space is a great asset. Outside area could benefit from a little tlc, and is unfortunate it doesn’t catch the sun, which we were lucky to have! We had a great week and would recommend to others.

The only comments I would make are that the outside space needs tidying up as there are numerous wee

The only comments I would make are that the outside space needs tidying up as there are numerous weeds. The overgrown ivy to the back door needs trimming back. The bench also needs replacing as it looks worn out. On the positive side the cottage is very warm and cosy. It's location close to the lake is great with the added bonus of the parking space.
