Overall, very good. Clean and convenient to beach. Low water pressure, limited hot water and bugs were the cons. 30 min from Williamstead, villa hosts were very nice and responsive.

The villa was a great home base for our vacation. The view, the pool and the quiet area were exactly what we had hoped for. There is construction across the street but was not an issue for us as we were away during the day. Playa Cas Abao is around the corner and an easy beach option. I loved seeing and hearing many different birds each morning as we enjoyed our morning coffee.The interior is large but is lacking enough seating for comfort other than at the dining room table or by bringing in chairs from outside. There is room for about 3 people on the one couch.The only bathroom with electrical outlets is in the master bath so one of us had to use extension cords to reach the bathroom.Putting some work into small details such as an instruction/welcome book for the use of the house, tips for restaurants and beaches, a guest book for guests to share tips, and care of the landscaping (i.e. pull all the weeds) would go a long way to make this an exceptional place. If it is possible, having screens on windows would be another positive add. In order to enjoy the amazing breezes, all windows have to be open which allows in bugs and a brief visit by a bat.The hosts for this property were very responsive and great about questions during our stay.

Million Dollar Views

We have stayed in several VRBO properties over the years and voted this property as our #1 best view and it tied for best home! It was spacious and clean with great bedroom and bath options. The view was beautiful as was the island. Communicating with the property manager was easy using WhatsApp and they were very responsive. We would stay here again.

Girls trip

Very good stay. Owners should tell prospective guests that they must pay for electricity and water above a certain level. We ended up paying about 65 for electricity. A step between downstairs bedroom and bathroom is tall and unmarked. One of our group fell down this unmarked step at night and was hurt. Please mark with wide yellow or white tape at edge of step.

Beautiful house with a lovely view

The house looks exactly like the pictures. Check in and out was easy. The only hiccup was over the cost of electricity, as it wasn’t communicated before we booked that there was a very small limit per person before we would get charged. If you want to run AC during the day this listing will get very expensive.

Curacao Cas Abao Villa #75

Outstanding view over the ocean. Clean and delightful private pool. Spacious villa. Mangers are very responsive to requests and helpful with check-in and check-out. Grounds need care, e.g. weeds growing in walkways and around patio/pool area. A lot of insects, e.g. bees around patio, ants inside and outside.

Unbeatable view!

This house is very spacious. The view can not be beat. Beautiful sunsets and looking out over the island, beautiful sunrises. The house is a bit sparse as far as furniture and decor. We had multiple issues but the property managers were quick to respond and were able to deal with most of the issues. Despite that our stay was wonderful.

Fantastic View, Great Support Team

The Villa has an incredible view on both the front overlooking the island and back overlooking the ocean respectively. There were some plumbing & electronic gate issues that caused small inconveniences, but this was offset but the incredible responsiveness and action on the part of the property managers. Nihaira and Claudio were a pleasure and managed all of our concerns expeditiously. I would recommend this property for anyone staying in beautiful Curacao in the future.

Great view

A nice enough place to end your day and sleep but we felt it was lacking in a few ways. We booked this house for 10 people. It is a huge house but really under furnished and decorated. There wasn't anywhere that we could all sit down together. I also feel like there should be more of the basics. Salt, pepper and other spices and paper towels to start. There also were no bowls and not enough other dishes for 10 people. Could be very easily 5 star with some minor improvements. The view is beautiful and it is a perfect location to enjoy the whole island.

Gorgeous home on stunning island

We had a wonderful stay. The home is just as described. HUGE! IMO, it can accommodate more than 10 people. The three women that oversee the property were incredibly nice and responsive. We never had any issues. The only thing I would address For anyone that reads every review like I do is there is a lack of bedding and towels. We only had a party of 7 and there were only 7 towels. So if there were 10 People there weren’t even enough. The bedding was just a duvet cover (sans the insert which was folded in the closet) there was no top sheet and only Two pillows per bed. In all the rooms besides the master there was a cold weather fitted sheet that made sleeping uncomfortable even with the room air on. Aside from that we had an amazing time. Please note that even on a map, cas abao is further from “town” than it appears. We didn’t mind but thought others should know! Thank you so much to the lovely ladies!

Beautiful view, plenty of space to spread out

Beautiful view with 5 large bedrooms which gave everyone their own space. We have been visiting Curacao every year for the past few years as a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. The hosts were extremely responsive via What AppThe home has all the essentials- large beds in all the rooms, nice views in almost all of the bedrooms, plenty of linens, plenty of parking, kitchen cookware. The pool was well kept and there were some toys/floats for the kids. Pool chairs need an upgrade- some were broken.We liked having the option for air conditioning in all the rooms at any time. It is common practice in Curacao to have the AC on owner controlled timers. You are fully in control in this home. However, they will charge if you use more electric than what is included. I confirmed this with the host prior to booking so it was not a surprise and the host did come to take meter readings before and after. This is not clearly communicated in the VRBO listing. For reference: We used AC in 4 of the rooms overnight only and went 8 over for 5 days.We were familiar with the location and Cas Abou beach but I think the "2 minutes from the beach" description is deceiving. You absolutely need a car for this neighborhood- Cas Abou Beach is closest at 8 minute drive and a small entrance fee per car to enter.Overall I would book this property again since we knew what to expect before arrival. Nice house, nice amenities, description may need to be updated.

Anneke and Nihaira were excellent hosts, taking care of any and all assistance we needed while staying at Villa Caruso. The house was most enjoyable and a pleasure to stay in. It is important that those who are from countries that do not use Celsius have access to conversion tables if using the oven.
