We had a lovely stay at the cow shed, made full use of the facilities and enjoyed the location as a central point to go off exploring the local area. Hosts were friendly and accommodating and the space was peaceful and ideally located for getting around the local attractions. Thank you for a pleasant stay
Great property and lovely views front and back. Ideal for cycling the canal.

Thanks Gary for taking the time to leave a review, we are thrilled that found it to be a great property and get some cycling done on the canal paths. The old railway line and nearby hills are also popular with our guests for cycling and walking. By the way, if you do return, feel free to ask about storing your bicycles.
Glad you enjoyed the views also and hope to see you again.
Thanks again for choosing to stay at The Cowshed.

We loved our stay in The Cowshed. It has been beautifully refurbished to a very high standard with everything you need for a relaxing break. The hot tub after a day walking in the hills was amazing! Thank you Justin and Christine. We hope to see you again soon.

Thanks Carolyn - we are so glad that you enjoyed the property and had a relaxing break. We've now replaced the hot tub also to one which will heat much quicker with the aim of always having it up to temperature for when guests arrive.
Hope to see you again soon.
Regards, Justin
This property is outstanding. Absolutely superb views are the first thing that can't be missed. Inside the property is brand new and renovated based around the traditional farm building with characteristics and beams retained and exposed. Beautifully warm, high spec and everything you would want for a stay including a dishwasher and washing machine.
Having two full bathrooms was fantastic and having one on the ground floor was also helpful when elderly visitors came.
I would/will definately stay here again, it was very relaxing, quiet yet not remote, local facilities were very close and Waitrose a couple of miles away.
Justin has been very accommodating and helpful and has put his heart and soul into the renovated farm buildings to great effect!
I can highly, highly recommend! Brilliant!
