This is a little gem.
This is a little gem. Beautifully presented, spacious with everything provided for a comfortable and relaxing retreat. Totally dog friendly with plenty of space for them to tun about securely. Surrounded by countryside, there are plenty of local walks however you are central to many beautiful places just a short drive away(country parks, beaches, Dartmoor etc). The Court Farm Inn in Abbotskerswell is superb and a 5 min walk down a steep path but well worth a visit. Bonus, they love dogs too! We have family locally so for us this was a perfect base and now that we have found this wonderful place, we will continue to use in the future. The hosts Katy, Ralph and Deano the dog are the most welcoming, friendliest hosts we've ever had. Nothing is too much. They made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Katy is a dog behaviourist and is happy to offer her expertise if you have any questions. We absolutely loved the Follys and highly recommend it. You definitely will not be disappointed if you book.

Fantastic find, book it now you wont be disappointed.
Fantastic find, book it now you wont be disappointed. One of the nicest getaways we have had. For a 1 bedroom 2 person property its huge with a large well equipped kitchen, bathroom and vast main room. Roughly 6 mile from Dartmoor and even closer to the coast, a gem of a place run by Katie who can't do enough for you. The property is in a very secure gated private area well away from the owners residence , enough to feel like its all yours. You will be encouraged to let your dogs run free in the gardens and whilst in the property up on the furniture and even the beds as long as you use the provided throws.Lovely busy dog friendly pub in the village but for much else you need to drive in to Newton Abbot(5 mins). We will be back and have already recommended to family and friends.

This was a beautiful place to visit.
This was a beautiful place to visit. So pretty and local to the Court Farm Inn Public House. The food is amazing. We were welcomed on arrival by Kate, the owner who is amazing. So kind and nothing was too much trouble. We had a bottle of bubbly, chocolate and cake on arrival, with milk in the fridge. The lodge was really spacious, clean and warm in this colder weather. The views from the ceiling to floor windows were beautiful. Very tranquil. Kate is also a dog behaviourist and gave us so much helpful advice and took time to show us how to adapt a new way of how to get the best behaviour from our dogs. We will be forever grateful for all her time and effort. The area is so pretty, thatched roof cottages and not far from Cockington Village Torquay. I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back ☺ï¸
