Boasting two ground floor bedrooms; two doubles with a single bed, both neighboured by a jack and jill type en-suite. Upstairs sits three double rooms with a family bathroom; this accommodation can sleep up to 8 people. The cottage also holds a fitted kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room hosting an open fire. To the outside, is off-road parking for four cars, and a lawned garden to the front and rear. Located amongst attractive countryside, The Slate House is a lovely property in a well-rounded area.

Town: The lively coastal town of Cahersiveen, birthplace of Daniel O'Connell, is ideally situated aside the River Fertha, at the foot of the Beentee Mountain, in beautiful County Kerry. Renowned in the 1800s for the salting of Atlantic fish, today the town retains strong links with the ocean, boasting an excellent harbour and a superb marina offering sailing, trout and salmon fishing and deep-sea angling opportunities.

Kühe, Schafe, Natur und ein wunderbares Haus
Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbar entspannte Wochen im Slate House. Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten und bietet viel Platz. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Es liegt ein paar wenige Autominuten vom Ortszentrum Cahersiveen auf einer Anhöhe in den Hügeln. Die Aussicht von dort ist fantastisch, auf der einen Seite der Blick über die Hügel, auf der anderen Seite kann man das Wasser sehen. Natur pur inklusive täglichem Besuch der benachbarten Kühe und Schafe. Das Slate House ist großartig, um sich zurückzuziehen und zu erholen. Für den Aufenthalt mit der gesamten Familie ist es bestens geeignet. Cahersiveen ist ein lebendiger Ort, in dem man alles finden kann, was man braucht und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden von Kerry, Ausflüge oder relaxte Tage an verschiedenen Stränden.
