Charming, immaculate, completely renovated 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom 1 bath home with hardwood floors, a short 10-minute walk to town, Walkers Point, Colony Beach (our free neighborhood beach), hotels, and restaurants. Located just off Ocean Avenue on a quiet one-way street across from the Kennebunk River and the Nonantum Hotel. 5-minute walk to Mable's Lobster Claw or Port Lobster for fresh fish, lobsters, lobster rolls, ice cream, etc.

Turnkey furnished, sleeps 6 with one queen bed, one full bed, and one day bed with trundle. Fully equipped, updated kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 flat-screen TVs, cable, internet, air conditioning, washer & dryer. The updated bathroom has a marble countertop and tub/shower combo.

Plenty of off-street parking. Mudroom to drop your sandy beach stuff (beach chairs provided) and a deck off the living room to relax and have a drink or cookout on the gas grill. Kennebunkport is the perfect location to all points south (Boston, Portsmouth, NH, etc.) and north Portland, Boothbay Harbor, Bar Harbor, Rockport, Camden, etc.) for exploring all the beauty Maine has to offer! Scenic boat tours up the river or a whale watch for the day are all located in town. Great shops, restaurants, fishing, antique hunting, nature walks, and hiking just minutes away. Located 1/2 hour south of Portland Jetport, 1 1/2 hours north of the Boston airport, and 1 1/2 hours East of Manchester, NH Airport. Kennebunk Beach pass provided free of charge.

Clean and convenient location

Clean house with ample space for our family of 4. Fairly well stocked. Great location with access to both walk into town (less than a mile) as well as walk to the ocean to see sunrise (less than a mile). Owner was very responsive.

We had such an amazing time in KPT. The house was perfectly located to walk into town and a short ride to several beaches. The house was perfect for our family with nicely laid out floor plan and very clean. Jann was very attentive and available when needed for any questions/concerns. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Property!

We had the most wonderful week at this house. It was the perfect size for a couple! Used all the amenities - grill, outdoor space, sunroom - and of course the location and being able to walk into town was a HUGE bonus! Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I, (3 adults and 2 children; ages 1 and 7) just spent a wonderful week at the property! It was very clean, had everything we needed and was a perfect fit for our family. It was a 10 minute walk to Colony Beach and 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Having linens provided and beach chairs available was a big perk when traveling with kids!

Perfect Location!

Couldn't be happier with the location. The home was as pictured also nice and clean! We had to buy paper towels, hand soap, laundry soap and toilet paper as there was none of the first three and only 4 rolls for the 6 of us for our four day stay. Also very limited tv channel selections with no live tv available. The table top fan in our room didn't work and the stand up fan was broken at the base but we rigged it with tape to hold together. Overall fantastic house worked out perfectly for us. Would highly recommend!

Thank you for your review Gayle. I wish you would have let me know about the fans and the lack of paper towels an TP etc. Usually the cleaning crew lets me know. Also thank you for finding out what the big yellow stains on the white bedspread was so I could try and get them out!

Great rental close to town and ocean

We have stayed here in the past and we love it. The location is fantastic and working with Jan couldn’t be easier. The house is nice sized with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Very clean! Hope to come back again!

Great spot to stay to walk to all the best places!

This cute cottage was perfect for my family to stay in for my wedding weekend at The Colony. It's open concept, great to host a small dinner, and the pictures are very accurate - it's actually bigger in person than on the pictures, so I was pleasantly surprised! For all intensive purposes, the place was very clean. My stepmother took apart the fans and cleaned out the dust and such on those, along with the dirty outside furniture, but that was just super picky cleaning. We would definitely stay here again!

perfect friend-cation!

My best friend and I traveled to Maine from Nebraska and Ohio with our mom's and our children. This adorable Maine home was just what we needed to reconnect and enjoy the beauty of Kennebunkport. It had all the amenities we needed to play games with our kids, cook from home if we wanted, sleep comfortably, and even enjoy access to Netflix. We loved the easy walk to town as well as the amazing views of the ocean and the rocky coast. Having lived in the New England area a while back. we were also all smiles to find out the close proximity to Cape Elizabeth Lighthouses, as well as Kittery, Maine, for some shopping, and Portsmouth, NH, for some living history lessons for the kids. Jann was a great host, and easy to reach with any questions. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect spot

This house was beautiful and much bigger than I anticipated from the pictures. It was in a great location with easy access to the Port and a Kennebunk beach pass which worked out great for us as our daughter had surf lessons at Gooch's beach. Jann was easy to get a hold of if necessary and very accommodating. We had a great week and would highly recommend.

Great location!

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood and friendly host with great recommendations if you ask. We rented bikes and could go to several beaches, and only a 15 minute walk to downtown Kennebunkport.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Kennebunkport

This well-appointed, freestanding home is beautifully decorated and stocked full of creature comforts from cushy bedding and towels to multiple televisions, a great chef's kitchen and beautiful bath. The home offers an outside grilling area, exterior deck and a separate sun porch to enjoy the outdoors. Located a very short walk to the center of Kennebunkport or the surrounding beaches, the home is several houses away from the main road so there is no traffic noise and the neighborhood is quiet. Parking is very easy and off street. Both the owner and property manager are gracious, unobtrusive hosts who are super responsive and have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. I'd recommend this home to anyone visiting Kennebunkport. My wife and I will be back.

Perfect house

We loved this house. It was very clean and updated and the location is absolutely perfect. You can walk into town for dinner or shopping and not have to worry about traffic or parking. There is a beautiful ocean walk not far from the house. Jan was always available for any issue you may run into (we didn't run into any!). We will definitely return next time we are in the area. A Home away from Home!

This place exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly clean and modern, located in a great location and a quiet neighborhood; a ten minute walk from the center of town and a short walk to the beach. Not only was the house great but the property manager was just as fantastic! She was incredibly accessible and easy to contact while we were away. We would absolutely visit again.

Every year I wanted to come back so 25 years ago we bought a house to enjoy beautiful Maine, great weather and local food, shopping and entertainment! Originally from NY.

Why they chose this property

This property was owned by one of Kennebunkport's best-known old timers who purchased it when he returned home from WWll.....now owned and renovated by his stepdaughter, who grew up in this house.
