The location was absolutely perfect - walkable to the Acropolis and other sites, as well as many restaurants. I did have to message the owner when we arrived to find the location of the lockbox as the photos did not come through in her email until a few days later, but I received a very prompt reply. The only suggestion would be to have a dish towel in the apartment - we did not use enough dishes to run the dishwasher and had no way to dry the hand washed dishes. We would stay there again.

Everything we could need and more for our stay in Athens. Helena arranged for transportation at a very reasonable price. George the driver was an absolute delight. Enjoyed the safety of the entrance to the building and to the apartment. Showers worked well. Great location to access Plaka (shopping and eating) and the main archaeological sights in Athens as well as the hopon-hopoff bus service. Only downside was it located on a main street that could be fairly busy. I would stay here if we return to Athens

KOUKAKI. You are in Athens historical center! Acropolis area has everything you may need, within walking distance. Open 16 hours per day, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, e.t.c. The neighbourhood is quiet and absolutely safe
You can also continue your walk to Thissio, Monastiraki and the flea market. All these are in Athens center and whenever you feel tired you get in the Metro and get off at Acropolis metro station which is 3 minutes walking distance from the house
