A 17th century winemaker lodge in a peaceful valley, surrounded by vineyards.
The Pavillon sits among the vines in the most peaceful valley, surrounded by vineyards. An ideal place to enjoy a relaxing time within a short distance to a number of "must see" of the area : the Hospices de Beaune, the Puligny-Montrachet vineyards, Château de Couches, Dijon ... and the well known Spa of Santenay.
You will find a number of gastronomic local restaurants in the nearby villages, shops, a supermarket and two bakeries within 15mn drive to the property.
Access : the Pavillon is accessible through its own private entrance door with a digital lock. It is part of a big property "the Domaine de Cromey" but completly independant with its separate entrance door giving you access to its private garden.
The door of the house takes you directly into a beautifully decorated living room with antiques french wood furniture but with a modern touch, a cosy sofa and a lovely 17th century fireplace to enjoy evenings by the fire.
To complete this room a reading/working table, ideal to work on a laptop (the Pavillon offers highspeed internet connection), a TV and a small library. The dining table can host up to four guests.
The Pavillon has its own efficient airconditioner unit.
From the main room you will access a well equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, an electric oven, 4 burner electric hob, a dishwasher, toaster, a microwave and a coffee machine with some coffe caps and also a french press coffee machine).
Three steps to access your bedroom (Kings bed) with its attached spacious bathroom. We provide towels and soaps.
The bedroom has a window from which you can see our vinyard "Le Clos".
On request and during the season (March to October 31rst),we propose wine tastings.

We were looking for a cottage with a fireplace to unwind during the holiday season, but we got so much more. From the very first contact, every effort was made to ensure our comfort. The cottage and its location are truly stunning. The cottage has a beautifully tasteful interior with a magnificent fireplace. Every detail has been meticulously taken care of, on the level of a luxury hotel. The cottage is situated in the heart of Burgundy, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the local atmosphere. Manager Anne was exceptionally helpful and available for all our questions and requests. She guided us to places we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Many thanks also to caretaker Bernard for providing the firewood for the fireplace. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience Burgundy.

Wonderful guests to have in the house !
Mark and his wife are the ideal guests for any host. They came with a beautiful little dog that is very well behaved.
They were interested to discover the area and the local wines and we enjoyed some lovely exchange with them.
Mark, thank you for being "the best guests" we could dream of for the first booking of our Pavillon !. What a lovely way to start the season .
We hope to see you again.
About the host
Hosted by SARL ELDEN
My wife and I have dedicated all lives to the enjoyment of food and wine. For a number of years we organised fine gastronomic journey in unique villa within the most gastronomic popular countries in Europe. In 2014, we bought and entirely restored the Domaine de Cromey along with its winemaker lodge "the Pavillon". The property has been there since the early 15th century and was always named by the villagers as the Chateau de Cromey. As a second dream we replanted the vinyard that came with the property. Our first cuvée of Bourgogne "Le Clos" came out with the beautiful vintage 2022.
Upon request it is possible for you to book a tasting that will include a visit of our 16th century cellar, a tasting of 8 different wines in our tasting room, the old " Cuverie". We have been representing and exporting 40 small family owned winemakers in the US for a few decades znd the wines are already in the US. But the opportunity to try our Bourgogne "Le Clos" 2022
