Pisa Art Apartment - renovated, air conditioned, historic center, sleeps 4

Pisa Art Apartment is a fully renovated apartment with all comforts, strategically located in the historic center of Pisa, in ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) but 20 m from the Arno River: the attractions of the city are all reachable with short walks, as well as the railway station and the PisaMover, the airport shuttle. Excellent base so also to visit the cities and the small historic villages of the surroundings.

Bright and welcoming, air-conditioned, on the first floor of a characteristic building in the historic center without elevator: our guests can enjoy the ancient warmth of the exposed beams and original wooden windows (with double glazing and mosquito nets) and at the same time the comfort of the most modern facilities, surrounded by the images full of light, delicate shades, colors and sensuality of the artworks of Paola Iacopetti, photographer and apartment's owner.

The apartment is equipped with fiber and wi-fi connection, air conditioning and heating with both heat pumps and with boiler and radiators, inputs with keypads (you will then be autonomous for check-in!), home automation system.

It overlooks a small street in the historic center from which you can see the Lungarno and the beautiful Palazzo Medici on one side, the ancient church of San Martino on the other, with a pizzeria (very good!) open until 23 and a nightclub. Little busy and noisy, but in any case thanks to double glazed windows and air conditioning system it is always possible to have the ideal conditions to rest, read, watch a movie or work.

We collect on site and in cash the costs for the mandatory final cleaning of 60 euros per reservation and the tourist tax, equal to 4% of the price of the reservation, requested by the City of Pisa (see House Rules).

We are in the historic district of San Martino, full of churches, palaces and houses built mostly in medieval times. Car access is restricted to residents and some areas are exclusively pedestrian. Streets and squares animated by shops, bars and restaurants alternate with quiet squares and alleys, and a few steps from the apartment the beautiful Scotto Garden is a green park between the ancient city walls, partly passable and the San Gallo Bastion; houses an area equipped with games for children, flower pergolas with tables and benches, a large lawn that in summer welcomes shows and concerts.

In addition to detailed information to reach the apartment and for check-in, we offer our guests directions, guides and tips on places to visit, such as events, exhibitions, shows, clubs, food, etc. in and around the city, even outside the most popular tourist circuits, for a stimulating and enjoyable holiday.

Bus stop: Line 5, 2 minutes walk
Central Station: 10 minutes by bus (LAM green) or on foot (950 m)
Piazza dei Miracoli: 20 minutes walk (1.4 km)
Airport: 20-25 minutes by bus then PisaMover.
For those travelling by car, there are paid parking spaces on Lungarno Galilei (20 m) and Lungarno Guadalongo (750 m) and free on Viale delle Piagge (1.2 km).
