The Hollies has an open-plan living space. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and Smart TV. The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite shower and two singles, served by a bathroom and cloakroom. To the outside is off-road parking for three cars, secure bike storage, and an enclosed garden with furniture. Within 0.6 miles or less there is a shop and pub and please note, one pet is welcome but sorry, there is no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. There is also a travel cot and highchair available on request. The Hollies is a wonderful retreat for accessing the best of Norfolk. Note: Dogs to be kept downstairs.

Region: Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Town: The medieval and cultural city of Norwich is the capital of East Anglia. Norwich boasts some of the finest buildings in Britain, with two cathedrals, a Norman castle and several large houses. Elm Hill is one of the oldest streets in Norwich, with beautiful cobblestones and Tudor houses, some now home to independent shops. Norwich also offers art galleries, museums, theatres and cinemas, as well as beautiful parks and gardens. Visit its stylish pubs, cafés and restaurants and enjoy its excellent shopping facilities. Tour the city by open-top bus, along cycle pathways, or walk one of its many trails and the river walk. For those wishing to relax, spend a leisurely day on board a boat enjoying the nearby, beautiful Norfolk Broads. The coastline is also within easy travelling distance, offering a fun day out.

Vrbo location description totally WRONG

It was a beautiful modern house, very comfortable & well appointed with kitchen utensils & boardgames etc. However the location is NOT where Vrbo advertised it as. Supposedly an 8min walk to Norwich cathedral…..NOT! The property is actually on the outskirts of the city and we couldn’t even get there in an 8minute drive. Totally false advertising from Vrbo, which is a shame as the property & Skye cottages were fine.

Ideal location for us. It was all very modern. Took us a while to work out the oven and the microwave but once we got the hang of it, it was simple. (We left the oven instructions on the kitchen bench rather than hidden in a drawer.) TV aerial doesn't work unless you balance it on top of the lamp so it is higher up I guess. You need it to get free to air news etc. But these are not complaints - we had a perfect time.
