Great location, horrible management
The location is ideal- walkable to many sites and close to a metro stop. The street itself is not loud and very safe. This property could be amazing, but our stay was horrible.
ACCURACY
little to no natural light. The "bedroom" with the two twin beds is a loft with no storage. It is an old building and the kitchen and bathrooms show their age.
CLEANLINESS/READINESS
One of the twin beds had no sheets. We discovered extras after searching.
While making this bed we found an empty condom wrapper under it.

MANAGEMENT
We paid extra for early check in and were sent a code for bluetooth access. Only one person could use the key, it could not be shared across devices. When the key stopped working I contacted the host about getting physical key he told me "They have a key". We went back and forth over hours and I got increasingly worried that he had given the key to someone not in our party. He accused me of lying about being locked out and hung up on me and refused to answer further calls/ texts. I called Vrbo and EVENTUALLY he came and gave us a key. By this time I had been waiting on the street in the dark and cold drizzle for more than two hours and we missed dinner reservation for which we had to pay a fee. He says he thought we were a different property and it is Vrbos fault. He never asked me to clarify the address and if he had looked back in our texts he could have seen which property it was.
