Relax with the whole family at this spacious and peaceful beachfront property. Direct access to the beautiful sandy beach at West Wittering. A rare chance to stay at one of the original beach houses filled with original 1960s charm and totally unspoiled. South View is a much-loved family home. While comfortable, it is definitely a no frills property for those looking to enjoy a simple stay right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.K. Dog friendly, fenced rear garden that opens on to the beach. Plenty of parking on the private driveway.

Stunning location The house is a little quirky but adds to the charm of the place.Communication with host was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped bedrooms very comfortable and quiet at night. We absolutely loved our stay.A word of caution - wet room floor a little slippery so be careful.Would recommend.

Beachfront stay

This was a perfect beach house for our multi generational stay. The quirky layout allowed for flexible living and bedroom spaces and the view from the living room and balcony was amazing. We loved the original features, this has clearly been a very well loved and cared for holiday house which we felt honoured to share for a week and were very sad to leave. Facilities in nearby East Wittering (5 min drive, 20 min walk along the beach) ample for day to day needs. Highly recommend this house and definitely hope to return.

We have just recently returned from a fantastic stay at South View - the location of this beautiful house is honestly amazing. We were there over the hot bank holiday weekend, when the West Wittering beach and car park were full. However, the beach in front of the property was pretty much empty, and the private road of the property meant not having to battle cars etc or worry about parking. The house itself is lovely, the balcony upstairs was perfect - we enjoyed breakfast out here and bbq dinners! Beds all comfy, lovely bedding and the wet room was perfect when returning from the beach. We would definitely not hesitate to book again. Even if the weather hadn’t been kind to us, we know we’d have still had a brilliant time away. We walked to East Wittering a few times which was easy and great for the surf shop / coffees / fresh breads etc. Can recommend pub lunch at the Shore Inn, breakfast at The Boulevard and brownies from Brownie Bay!Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful family home - we all loved it!

A very special weekend

We had a very magical special weekend away, the house was comfortable, it felt home from home. The views were spectacular, sitting in the lounge watching the sea was so relaxing. We went for some lovely walks and the kids loved playing in the garden. The house had everything you could possibly need! I couldn’t fault it at all! Communication with the owners was very friendly and they were very helpful. I would highly recommend staying :)

A great holiday

Southview is an ideal family house with wonderful views of the sea. Very easy access to the beach and bathing. The house has many single beds which is helpful for families. The kitchen is well equipped. We found no information about the area, walks, local restaurants, Chichester etc. This would have been helpful, but otherwise a wonderful holiday.
