"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the aroma of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples is the origin of a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
As you stroll through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you pass through its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place in Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city," or the so-called "belly of Naples," which served as a shelter for Neapolitans during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum.
Especially not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the result of the talent of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Naples Central Station is 1.5 km from the accommodation, while the airport can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.

I loved where the property was located. It was a short walk to catch transport or walk to different places.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
When I met the host, she was quite kind and gave me some good tips for around the city. However, the accommodation is not the best if you want to do anything besides just sleeping there. There are towels for showering, but none for clearing the dishes. The ac was broken at first, which was fixed that same day and the floor was cleaned the day after. Due to this though, the kitchen was unusable for 2 days. The neighbours in the building are extremely loud and wouldn't quite down, even after asking them between 11 pm and midnight. I got no clear instructions on what to do with my trash and there is no communication before 9 am. Therefore I couldn't throw it away before my flight. The location id quite nice. It is close to the metrostation Duomo and not too far from the port. There are many small shops and restaurants about a 10 minute walk away and the station is around a 25 minute walk. It is quite overpriced for what you get, as the building is old, many things are broken and you get basically nothing with the appartement (salt, pepper, scissors, etc.). Even though the location is nice, if you are planning on doing anything other than just sleeping in the appartement, I would recommend to compare it to other places.
