Situated in a quiet village near the medieval town of Grožnjan is the charming stone villa Nonna Lucia. Decorated in a traditional style combining stone and wood, it is surrounded by a green 1200m² garden. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is designed to accommodate up to 6 people with a covered parking area for 2 cars. If you want to surround yourself with the authentic Istrian atmosphere and enjoy the luxury of staying in a Villa, Nonna Lucia is the place for you.
The main part of the ground floor is occupied by an open-plan living unit - when you enter the house from the courtyard, the first thing you will be greeted by is the kitchen and dining area, which leads to the living room. You will immediately feel at home, as the entire interior is steeped in traditional charm. Wooden beams and stone details, along with decorations such as an antique radio and framed portraits on the wall, give the room personality and warmth. The kitchen, equipped with a glass-ceramic hob, has a practical counter with open shelving. Next to it, the dining table for 6 can be used to enjoy prepared specialities. The living room is an extension of the kitchen. It has a sofa and a fireplace and is ideal for family gatherings. Along the entire wall of the open unit are two French doors leading to the pool. Thanks to them, the interior of the house is bathed in light all day long.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are arranged so that 1 bedroom is on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms are on the first floor. Each bedroom is furnished for your comfort, with ensuite facilities, air conditioning, TV and a cot. Two of the rooms have a double bed and one of the rooms has two single beds. All rooms offer a pleasant atmosphere for unwinding at the end of the day, while retaining the rustic charm of the rest of the villa. The bathrooms are decorated in the same style, with interesting details such as antique taps. All bathrooms have shower cubicles and hairdryers are also available.
The terrace and garden will immediately win you over with its views of unspoilt wooded greenery. The terrace is located at the level of the ground floor. During the summer months you can swim in the pool, whose navy-blue floor makes it irresistibly reminiscent of the sea. The larger pool from the terrace flows into the smaller pool on the lower level of the garden and is ideal for the little ones. You can sunbathe with a view of the forest or take a break in one of the 6 sun loungers. There is also an outdoor shower and next to the pool is an outdoor lounge area with seats. If you'd like to enjoy eating in the Mediterranean air, you'll find a summer dining room with a table for 8. This room is connected to the living room by French doors and has direct access to the terrace. The barbecue area is located in the garden, together with a large covered table and benches for the whole party to enjoy. While you are barbecuing, the younger guests can have fun playing a game of table tennis or darts.
