Bike hire options ( including e-bikes) can be delivered and collected to you. Local pubs and restaurants offering a variety of fare within walking or short driving distance. Choose to eat in a fully fitted brand new kitchen offers a full cooker with air fryer and pizza oven, induction hob and microwave. A dishwasher makes light work of the washing up. A warm outside wash down area is provided for dogs and bikes. EV charging at property is also available. Secure bike storage. After a hard days walking or cycling jump in the hot tub to wind down and watch the sun go down.

This retreat was perfect. Nicely decorated, very clean, great location and better than we expected from the pictures.The owners Lisa and Neale live nearby and nothing is too much trouble. You were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation was perfect, extremely comfortable and the views were amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend away.

Wonderful stay at the Old Cider Press with walks and great activities on the doorstep. Great hosts too, nothing was too much trouble. Property is outstanding, exceptionally clean with lovely soft beds, great showers and a modern kitchen. We can’t wait to come back, especially Gunnar the dog who didn’t want to leave!
2nd stay at this amazing place ( and 3rd one booked for next year!)Beautiful home in amazing location. So quiet and views are amazing.Within easy reach of lots of places to eat and visit. If you get the chance, go to Cardiff (about 45 mins away)to the indoor market and get some of their freshly made hot welsh teacakes...out of this world!!Hot tub lovely addition and home has everything you need for a fantastic stay.Strongly recommend this place! Excellent place to stay. Beautifully presented, brilliant location, all the facilities you could want. Idyllic place to unwind, relax and forget about the world and great internet speeds if you do need to keep in touch. The views are incredible and is in the doorstep of all the attractions and of course, the forest. If your lucky enough to be able to book this place, I am jealous.
What an amazing property - the photos dont do it justice! So clean and well thought out...everything was available to make our stay great.
Beautiful area...so peaceful and perfect for when you are in the hot tub.
Will definitely come back as perfect for our needs for seeing nearby friends.

We had a lovely relaxing stay to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary at this beautifully presented property. Lisa and Neal were perfect hosts who had put aot of thought and effort into making the accommodation a pleasure to stay in and the countryside view were amazing. The hot tub was a welcome treat too.Very well located, We visited Symonds Yat, Monmouth and the Clearwell Caves and also had a great meal at the Dog and Muffler Inn - all highly recommended and worth visiting. We look forward to returning in the not to distant future
This property is stunning, the craftsmanship is top class.
It is very homely, very comfortable and spacious rooms.
The views are wonderful, lovely walk to the local pub through the woods.
What made it even more special was Lisa & Neil the hosts,such warm, genuine helpful hosts who are so welcoming you feel like you have known them forever.
