Within 0.3 miles there is a shop, lake and pub and please note, there are two pets welcome but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Two highchairs are also available. Escape to Waverley for a wonderful break to Cumbria.

Nearby attractions include the award-winning village of Hawkshead, home of the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Tarn Hows, one of the most visited beauty spots in the country and Esthwaite Water, famous for its fishing.
