Wonderful property and location. Host is very communicative and accommodating. Have been coming to this property for 11 years, absolutely beautiful place to vacation.
Great location! Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for us to enjoy. We felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Cute downtown with lots of shops nearby.
The location was great! Rust pond had fabulous fishing and there was plenty of great attractions in the Wolfeboro area. The house was comfortable with a rustic feel and well stocked with necessary items. The boats were a nice extra that we enjoyed!
Fantastic time at the lake! House is small but very clean and very well stocked. Hard floors, kitchen stocked with everything you need, renovated bathrooms, clean bedding. A canoe, kayaks, and fishing poles!! My family had an absolute blast at the house enjoying the lake in every way possible. Highly recommend this place.
This was our fifth or sixth stay at this lovely place and we will keep coming back. The hosts are communicative, accommodating and provide so many items to make your stay great. Rowboat, canoe, kayaks and paddleboards, and all the comforts of home. The view is amazing and there is a lot to do and many good restaurants in the area. We also spotted a bald eagle while on the lake!
We really enjoyed our stay and would rent it again. The deck overlooking the lake as well as the variety of different types of boats really makes the location for us! They also included many small convenience items: a campfire lighter, spices, a first aid kit, as well as lots of firewood!
Another wonderful week at Rust Pond. It is instantly relaxing as soon as we walk through the door. It's always very clean and especially peaceful and quiet on weekdays. The upstairs bathroom has been updated with new sink, paint and shelving. We look forward to returning.
The homeowners clearly pour their hearts into this place. This year's bathroom renovation is gorgeous, with fresh, thoughtful finishes that feel both modern and right at home in a chalet. Year after year they keep finding ways to make the house even cozier, and it feels like staying with friends rather than in a rental. It's spotless, comfortable, and well stocked. And the fishing? Once again, amazing. After 25 years on this pond, it still surprises us. If you love to fish, or just want to sit by the water with a coffee and watch the day begin, this is the spot. When you're ready to venture out, charming Wolfeboro is a short drive away, with lakeside shops, restaurants, and big views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Honestly, though, it's hard to leave the chalet. We're already counting the days until we're back. You don't return to a place for 25 years by accident. Book it, and you'll understand why.Five stars, without hesitation.
This lake side retreat is a diamond. The lake views are amazing, the fishing is great and it is located so close to the quaint town of Wolfeboro. We have been going to this location for 24 years and we plan on going another 24.
This spot is amazing. Even with the challenging weather we had, there were plenty of fans in the cabin for the hot days and plenty of games for the rainy days. And as usual the swimming was the best!
This was a perfect lake cabin and vacation! We enjoyed swimming, fishing and making s’mores in the firepit. The cabin was comfortable and a good size for the 5 of us. We hope to visit again soon!
This property was amazing. It is right on the lake with stunning views. The water was so clean and inviting and surprising warm. The house was clean and very well stocked with a surprise welcome gift when we arrived. Elaine was the perfect host offering suggestions and was always available when we had questions. Looking forward to staying again and again.
Lovely waterfront cottage - quiet and peaceful. House was well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts were thoughtful and attentive while still leaving us to enjoy our solitude. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Look forward to returning.
