Les Hirondelles lovely house set in South West France

Les Hirondelles is set a village about 10km from Chef Boutonne here you can obtain all your needs for your stay, there is two supermarkets with petrol stations. pharmacies, doctor and dental surgeries, 3 bars where you can relax outdoors with a glass of wine or coke, there are several different shops with an outdoor market every Saturday morning.
There are a number of restaurants nearby and a little further N@pe79 in Loubille (4km) severs pizza and kebabs here you eat in or take away, Pizzeria Jos is in Chef Boutonne with an extensive menu not just pizza, L'auberge du Cheval Blanc at Luxe 30mins away is a must for food lovers, Les Glycines at Melle, le Canton is at Longré serving only a single set menu over 3 courses with excellent service and food.
Les Hirondelles offers lots of walking options around the village and the local countryside. There is an 18-hole golf course at Niort approximately 50 minutes away.
Just off the A10 approx near the city of Poitiers (about 1hr) you will find Futuroscope adventure park and Aquascope water park. Canoeing and Kayaking hire is available 25 minutes south near Ruffec which is open all summer. There are 4 bikes for the guest's use. The 10m x 5m pool is for the sole use of the guests for full duration of the stay. A cinema and Chateau Javazay with its garden’s museum, events throughout the summer and pond where fishing is allowed (www.chateau-javarzay.fr) are in Chef Boutonne 10 mins from the house.
Etang les Gours near Les Gours is an inland public beach with supervised swimming in July and August. there is a goat farm within a 2 minute walk where you can purchase goat cheese, goat milk and local fresh produce. For guests who enjoy a day or two at the seaside La Rochelle is approximate 70mins to the west on the Atlantic coast.
