About this property

Vista Mar, Holiday Cottage Freshwater East, Sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms, bathrooms

Vista Mar is located in the coastal village of Freshwater East, it offers stunning sea views over the bay and out to sea. Set above the bay, it has been renovated to make a light and airy seaside holiday home with a modern, contemporary, feel and simple minimalistic yet, comfortable furnishings complimented by practical wooden flooring.A path through the front garden leads to the useful glazed porch, ideal for storing beach and walking gear and into the open plan living space with modern, fitted, kitchen, dining space and comfortable sitting room, all offering the same wonderful sea view. French doors open to a decked terrace, perfect for dining alfresco on a summer’s day while you soak up the sea view across the bay. Steps from the decking lead to the enclosed, lawned, garden, prettily planted and giving plenty of space for children to play. The hallway leads through to the 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have sea views and a shower room and utility room with extra toilet. A nearby footpath leads down to the beach below only a 4 minute walk away. Children will love spending their days on the beach, its gently sloping sand is perfect for families as well as watersports enthusiasts while the slipway is ideal for those with boats. Why not sample some food or drinks at Jacks at The Longhouse, located on the beachside. Keen walkers can take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this beautiful coastline with its wonderful sandy beaches including Barafundle Bay, Stackpole Quay and Broadhaven South, it is best to reach this via the Lily Ponds at Bosherston where you can enjoy tea at The Olde Worlde Tea Rooms. There is a good village pub serving food just a short walk away or another near the beach below, while in the neighbouring village of Lamphey, just a short drive away, there is a well-stocked shop, garage, pubs and restaurant. There are a host of other seaside villages and beaches to explore including Manorbier, Tenby and Freshwater West all within easy reach.A wonderful holiday home where you are sure to relax and an ideal base from which to explore. Please note that there are unfenced drops from the decking. Both double rooms have beds against the wall.
