This was a wonderful condo to stay in! The condo came fully stocked (which I didn't know from the listing, so that was a nice surprise!); beach chairs, snorkels, beach umbrella, towels, and everything you could need in a kitchen including the cooking basics like margarine, ketchup, mustard, mayo, olive oil, and a plethora of kitchen appliances and pots and pans, even a blender! There was enough toilet paper etc. for my partner and I to get through 10 days without having to go buy anything from the store. There are BBQs available for guest use also. The bed in the unit was very comfy; I usually have a hard time sleeping anywhere other than home but I had no problem here! There is no air conditioning in the bedroom, but with it turned on in the living room and sleeping with the bedroom door open and the ceiling fan and an oscillating fan on we had no problems with being too hot at night. I appreciated all the hangers in the closet as I was unable to completely unpack my suitcase. The outdoor space was nice to eat breakfast and the property grounds are beautiful with lots of beautiful hibiscus and bougainvillea flowers! The property is right across the street from Kamaole II which is a great beach, we saw turtles here every day we went! You are also within walking distance to a lot of restaurants in Kihei. Overall it is in a fantastic location. A new coat of paint wouldn't go amiss in the unit but all of the important things were clean enough for my liking! The unit is at the very back of there property so it was very quiet all day. There are quite a lot of buildings and units on the property so if you are arriving after 5pm like we did I suggest looking up a map of Kihei Kai Nani on Google (there are lots of images) so you know where the actual unit is located to avoid any confusion finding it!
I will be recommending this unit to other budget conscious travelers and will keep it in mind for the future!
