There were shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. Lots of sites within walking distance. The property felt safe, room comfortable with a nice kitchen. My only suggestion would be to ask for any extra keys when making the reservation. If you don’t and decide you want one, you will have to pick up keys in different places than where you pick up the original. It would just add more stops for checking them back in when you leave. The manager was very good about responding to any issues or questions we had.
I do not recommend staying here. The main problem is Guest Ready - the property manager. They are generally unresponsive, provide zero information unless requested, and do a poor job of maintaining the place. I have no idea what Marie S. is smoking. The only way to communicate with Guest Ready is via the app or calling a UK number. It took them up to 5 hours to respond to requests. We were not provided even basic information: where to pick up the keys, how to work the oven, heat, washing machine and hot water. Here are a list of issues we had:- the exterior door to the patio would not lock- the WIFI did not work- no hot water- no heat- 7 lights out, including 3/4 in the bedroom- there is a TV, but no service- leak under sink (never fixed)- stains on carpet, broken floor tiles, cigarette burns & stains on couchWe worked through most of these issues, but it was painful. If you want to spend your holiday working through these issues, be my guest. It's really unfortunate because this could be a great place in an outstanding location. Oh well.
