Madeira Apartment

Our stay was wonderful. A group of 5 adults. Room for everyone. Only 1full bath, but we made it work. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, buses and the market.

Very clean, host was responsive, close to Funchal city centre. Only issue is that there is no AC, for June temperature it was fine but I imagine that could be a problem later in the summer if people require AC.

We liked this modern apartment in the middle of Funchal! Clean rooms, up to date kitchen and short walking distances to the center. We even found free parking lots nearby.Only drawbacks: The 2nd bathroom was broken and hence 1 bathroom for 5 person is too less. The apartment is not sound insulated (windows etc.) and hence it can get noisy! We had several nights with no or minimal sleep due to traffic noise during the night and other partying neighbors.

We let you know in advance that we had a plumbing problem with the second bathroom that was impossible to fix before your arrival. So, that was not a surprise for you.

These guests left a 1-star review because, unfortunately, they have witnessed a group of people being loud on the street next to our place. It was pretty obvious that this event had absolutely nothing to do with our property, whatsoever. This review is not only unfair to us, but it's also ridiculous. Shame on them.
