Fantastic Sea Views from Apartment

This one bedroomed apartment has fantastic sea views as it is situated at first floor level. It is in a great location in a quiet part of the Old Town in Puerto del Carmen. It is in the Portonovo complex which has a large communal pool. The apartment was fully refurbished. The refurbishment included the installation of a new entrance door, the installation of a double patio door ( which gives uninterrupted views of the harbour and the sea) and the fitting of a new kitchen. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. Every level of activity is available from relaxed walks, golf, fishing, karting and water based sports.
The apartment comprises a South facing balcony with amazing sea views, an open plan lounge / kitchen with breakfast counter, a bedroom with built in wardrobes and a bathroom. There is a safe contained within the built in wardrobes. Also stored in the wardrobes are sun lounge covers for your use at the poolside sun loungers. A hairdryer and iron are available for guests use.
The apartment can sleep up to 4 people with two single beds in the bedroom and a pull out bed in the lounge. It comes fully equipped with cooker,hob,fridge/freezer,microwave,coffee maker,toaster,kettle plus all cooking utensils
There is a flat screen television in the lounge with English speaking channels,Spanish speaking channels and German speaking channels all available. There is a DVD player and a CD/radio player available. There are a selection of DVDs available for your use when you stay in our apartment. There is also a good selection of books available if you are looking for a totally energy saving holiday.

perfect last minute getaway

stayed at this lovely apartment for a week, and it was everything we could have asked for! the host is wonderful and we were extremely lucky to have stayed there with such short notice. great location, nice quiet area that is still close enough to the hub of the city.

I booked this apartment based on location and previous reviews. Mary was extremely helpful and I appreciated the early check-in. It is a small compact apartment as described with beautiful views across the old harbour. Sun all day long ! A good sized pool which was cleaned every morning as were the surrounding areas. However, I experienced the same issues as the reviewer before me.I opened the door to the apartment and was hit with a stale fusty smell. So I thought well it’s probably been shut up for a few weeks maybe, so I opened the doors and bedroom window and gave it a good airing and the smell did disappear after a couple of days however the bed linen and the towels had the same smell to them, which was very unpleasant.. in my opinion the bedlinen could do with replacing altogether. There were also little mites running across the worksurface and breakfast bar. I just felt it was a little tired and needed a bit of TLC.

Fabulous 2 weeks

My wife and I had a fabulous 2 weeks in the apartment, which has everything you would need - a real home from home. The location is very secure in the quieter old town of Puerto del Carmen, and the area feels very safe. The view from the balcony is stunning and a good spot to watch the activity around the harbour and out at sea. Highly recommended!

This flat was looking quite tired. The towels and bedding seemed as though they needed a good airing. The kitchen surfaces and walls had these tiny mites running around so i had to keep everything in the fridge. I will not list any further things just to say, with more effort this could be a holiday letting worthy of repeat visits from a person as myself. The fridge was nice and clean with the welcoming bottle of water being a nice touch. Free use of the safe was welcome, but having to pay extra for the air con not so much.

Had a lovely fortnight in the apartment, felt right at home and comfortable right from the moment we walked in, pleasant accommodation with everything that we needed, packed far too much this time as we didn't need everything we usually take with us, the washing machine was truly a marvel for us.The hosts were lovely and friendly but not intrusive and if we had needed them we felt sure they would be most helpful with whatever we wanted, but, for us, the icing of this particular cake was the setting, fantastic balcony with the sun on it all day, great for the sunrises/sunsets overlooking the harbour in a quiet very clean calm complex, fantastic for chilling out and we will be back i hope in the near future. Absolutely perfect apartment. Everything you need for a self catering holiday. Close to many shops, bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Plays Chica. To top it all off the view from the balcony is quite spectacular.

We had a fabulous 8 night stay at this wonderful property.Excellent communication with the lovely owner, Mary.The property has everything you could need from beach towels, washing machine, hairdryer, iron to lots of books and DVD's to keep everyone entertained.We absolutely loved the location and the views. Minutes away from the beautiful marina and the lovely bars and restaurants of the old town and a steady 10-15 minute walk into PDC centre. Can't fault the place and wouldn't hesitate to book again

Vue magnifique sur le port et la baie , température très agréable en cette saison . La température de la mer et de la piscine était bonne . D'excellents restaurants de poissons sur l'ile . Fuerteventura et Graciosa à porter de ferry.
