Welcome to our lovingly renovated family home in the heart of Royal Deeside, Scotland. Run by a daughter and mother, our house features 2 bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests comfortably, with 2.5 bathrooms.

Our home has a cosy country charm, complete with a log-burning stove in the dining room, perfect for warming up after a day of exploring.

The fully equipped, modern kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals with ease, making your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Located in the beautiful Royal Deeside area, there is no shortage of activities and sights nearby. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy scenic hiking trails, while avid salmon fishers will find plenty of prime fishing spots in the Dee. During the winter months, nearby ski resorts offer fantastic opportunities for skiing and snowboarding.

Guests will have full access to contacting us for any assistance or recommendations during their stay. We also provide complimentary organic soap and a welcome basket filled with local Scottish produce to make your arrival even more special!

Very warm welcoming. Friendly and approachable landlord. Well organised communication. Very clean, neat and tidy property. I will highly recommend this property. Beautiful landscape while driving to the property and also the view from bedroom and launch, its amazing.

We had a lovely stay here with our daughters and their partners. We spent some time at the Braemar folk festival, but also enjoyed exploring the area a bit, cooking together and catching up. There’s everything you need in the kitchen, so good not to run out of crockery or cutlery. The place was spotless, warm and comfortable, smells heavenly due to the hand made soaps, plenty of parking, and suitable for our daughter’s dog. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, but did shuffle the furniture a bit so we could all get round it. The third bedroom is the sitting room with a sofa bed, but this did not cramp us. Lots to see and do, and we loved getting reacquainted with Aberdeenshire. We used to live in Ballogie, but it looks a bit different now! Very happy to recommend this place to stay.

Before renovating Christie's Croft, Jacqui lived in it her whole life! Josephine grew up therefore leaving home for university.

Jacqui now lives elsewhere in Aberdeenshire with her partner, but we couldn't bare to sell our beloved family home.

Which is why we gave it a bit of TLC, and decided to open it up to show others how stunning Deeside is.

We hope you enjoy being in our home as much as we do :-)

Why they chose this property

We love that Finzean is right in the heart of Aberdeenshire. Meaning everything is at your finger tips when it comes to exploring Scotland. We are a 30 minute drive from Aberdeen airport too.

The views really are stunning and it's perfectly peaceful.
