Paying for location, don’t expect much more.
This place is about the location, which is great, but we experienced some annoyances that shouldn’t come at that price. The company uses an app for the doors. There were supposed to be keys in the apartment. When they weren’t there, the agency didn’t bring them to us but said to use the app for our visit. The link worked on some people’s phones but not others. This meant we had to all go back together if someone wanted to return. The door isn’t a great internet spot and it didn’t feel safe standing on the street at night trying to get a connection to open the door. The AC was in the bedroom so those who slept on the pullout were so hot. The bathroom floor was so slippery that my son slipped after his shower and tweaked his knee. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way, which was awkward, and the door was so squeaky that it woke people up in the middle of the night when someone used the bathroom. We bought toilet paper because there were no extra rolls. Also, there are no mirrors in any other room so hard to get ready if someone was in the bathroom. Communication was inconsistent. Some messages were answered right away and some weren’t answered at all. There was no information about the place so it took awhile to figure out how to use the washing machine. We knew we weren’t staying at the Savoy but at over 300 a night, we expected more than what they provided.
