Extended family gatherings are most common here at ‘The Lions Share’ family’s come together to celebrate birthdays, engagements, christenings, wedding parties come to prepare the bride here before the big day. Lots of great memories are made here and appreciating that is what makes hosting so special to me.
Why they chose this property
I very much enjoy the variety of landscapes and activities on offer, I can walk or cycle the hills or through the forest or wander down to the beach of a day and pop into town for a lovely meal and enjoy the theatre of an evening, Glydbourne is just over 20 min drive away as is Charleston Manor. We have Drusillas zoo, Rathvinney Vinyards, Horse Riding at Polegate or you can get out on the sea Kyaking or sailing windsurfing etc at Buzz active or Soverign Harbour Sailing Club. You can book a tennis court or basketball pitch at the Eastbourne seafront. Herstmonseaux Castle is the nearest science centre and observatory, it also has a Medieval weekend with lots of kids activities set in a beautiful moated castle, they have a very impressive battle reenactment each year.
There is lots to do in the region but if you want to simply relax by the pool or in the jacuzzi or jump from the sauna to the pool it’s all here for you to enjoy!

What makes this property unique
The views are stunning with sea harbour lighthouse villages and even views of Brighton from the top of the ridge where I am situated. The luxury offered is exceptional whether by the micron filtered hot cold zip tap, the heated pool or the sumptuous 6 seater jacuzzi. The scale of the reception lounge and Master suite with balcony is also impressive.
There is space and facility for up to 16 people to come together and enjoy each others company.
