Our house is completely private; you’ll have exclusive use of it with your family or group of friends. The house features three double bedrooms, a living room with a double sleeper sofa, a kitchen, a bathroom, a loggia, a panoramic terrace, and a garden. We pay special attention to cleanliness, and the price includes all utilities (except for heating in winter), as well as sheets and towels for all guests. The house is surrounded by nature and is ideal for a relaxing holiday, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities, yet just a stone’s throw from Umbria’s most historically significant towns, where you can stroll outdoors and admire the beautiful villages. In twenty minutes, you can reach Valsorda and Monte Cucco for easy, accessible hikes suitable for everyone—including families and children—and then enjoy our traditional “crescia” with cold cuts at one of the many restaurants with outdoor seating. The house features a private garden equipped with lounge chairs, a table, chairs, a beach umbrella, and a barbecue for grilling Umbrian meats over an open flame. The surrounding countryside is just waiting to be explored and offers wonderful surprises, especially for children—such as blackberries to pick in late summer, a few kittens, some chickens or ducks, and sometimes even lambs or calves, which the welcoming residents of the village of Maccantone will be happy to show you. The ideal place to escape the stress
The Il Gelsomino Holiday Home has belonged to the Pascolini family for many, many years. We’ve welcomed so many people from all over the world, and every experience has left a lasting impression on us. We think of hospitality as a treat—you come here to rest and explore the beauty of our region, and we entrust you with the keys to our home, confident that you’ll enjoy the calm, the silence, and the unhurried pace of our countryside, and that when you leave, you’ll feel recharged and relaxed.
