This prestigious and futuristic architectural structure has been designated a “20th-Century Heritage Site.”<br>The Castle of Villeneuve-Loubet, founded in the 13th century by Romée de Villeneuve, consists of four buildings surrounding a trapezoidal inner courtyard. A tower stands at each of the four corners. Protected by two surrounding walls featuring battlements and loopholes, the castle has retained the austere appearance of a medieval fortress.<br>The Provençal village: the historic district is the heart of the small town of Villeneuve. Rebuilt in the 16th century following the great epidemics that led to its decline, the village features several gates dating back to the Renaissance, the Church of Saint-Marc, the Chapel of Notre Dame d’Espérance, and the washhouse on Rue des Poilus.<br>Château de Vaugrenier: The Château de Vaugrenier is a Palladian-style mansion built in the late 16th century.
