The place was clean, however the bathroom shower door did not wk, over head rain shower was minimal water pressure poor.. also Oder in the bedroom bath (might be methane)

Great London property

I saw some of the reviews about a tough check in process. We did not experience this at all. The hosts were great. We asked about dropping luggage early and they were super accommodating. The building is in rough shape as it is going through a renovation but the apartment itself was clean and as advertised. Very convenient location near a metro stop. Would highly recommend.

A bit of everything

It took us 30 minutes and many calls to gain entrance to the property which was too long . The check in process is not streamlined at all for this listing. One of the toilets wasn’t working and although a maintenance person arrived quickly to take a look at it the toilet stopped working again shortly after he left suggesting an ongoing problem. Otherwise a comfortable apartment for 3 people with a great location and nearby amenities.

After arriving and waiting 45 minutes, someone finally came to let us into the building, even though I had called 45 minutes before arriving to notify them.My friend was later trapped in the building’s elevator for an hour. He pressed both the emergency and call buttons, but no one responded. The fire brigade had to come and get him out. One of the firefighters even asked, “Is this the same place as last week?”Someone also entered our room using a master key, claiming they were responding to a repair request. We had not reported any issues, and nothing was broken.None of these serious safety or security problems were mentioned in the listing. I reached out to the host for help, but they never responded. The hallway is also “under construction” and in a state of disrepair, with lights literally falling out of the ceiling.I had very good Shawarma though

Jump-Scare

The property is obviously under renovation (or condemnation, it's difficult to tell). The absolute war-zone of the hallway/stairs/other units is not disclosed or evident in any of the property's advertised pictures. Also not disclosed was the out-of-order lift --- it would have been nice to have a heads-up that my parents would have to climb six flights of stairs. Communication and check-in were egregious. I had contacted the owner prior to our stay about stowing our luggage at the property before check-in. Owner responds, "We can't do that; pay for a 3rd-party to store." So we do, only for the owner to tell us day-of that we COULD have stored our luggage at the property after all. The website mentions early check-in. I attempt to speak to the owner about early check-in once our flight lands. For hours, I'm met only with radio-silence, after which, the owner informs me that they do NOT do early check-in, and that I will have to call a new phone number 30 minutes before we're ready to check-in, anytime after the prescribed check-in time of 3pm. I call the number 30 minutes before we arrive. My family is left waiting an additional 30 minutes in the rain, locked outside of the property until the owner appears to let us in. The rooms themselves were decent. Some windows were broken. The portable air-cons ineffective. The router unplugged. The built-in refrigerator non-functional. There was provided an additional mini refrigerator. It was fine. I would not stay again.
