Overall very happy with the Apt. Location was good and within walking distance of many attractions. It was good to be in a neighborhood outside of Rome and away from the crowds.
We loved our 5-night stay in this apartment! It’s very big, probably 600 sqft and is very modern despite the charmingly rustic exterior. The elevator, quiet air conditioning, Nespresso machine and washer/dryer were amenities we appreciated. I expected city noise but it was super quiet. We’d stay here again in a minute!
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was great with wonderful food and transportation nearby. As with most rentals the foldout couch proved to be incredibly uncomfortable as seating. With no other options this was a disappointment. The other amenities were good and the layout was comfortable and spacious.
The host was able to accommodate an early check-in, which we really appreciated so that we didn’t have to drag our bags around. The rental complex is in a residential area with very few tourists so we felt like we were living with the people. The local restaurants and cafés are half the price compared to those in city center. We felt safe, walking around the area and crossing the bridge over to Trastevere for dinner and our evening evenings. The washer dryer machine was very convenient. It would have been nice to have more than two towels each. But we were only staying for two days so not a problem. Would definitely stay there again.
The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It is well-appointed with what we needed for an extended stay. The beds, even the convertible sofa, were excellent. For two 70 year-old travelers it was nice to enjoy a 3rd floor (4th in US) with the convenience of an elevator. We were here in early March, and the temperatures in the unit remained very comfortable. The apartment is on a quiet street. Testaccio is a great neighborhood with everything you would want. Groceries, restaurants, caffès, bistros, and the ever important gelato. Bus transportation to various parts of Rome is plentiful and within a short walk to the stops.
Comfortable stay with elevator, larger shower, and washer/dryer combo. Neighborhood was very local, heard the church bells every day. Short walk to the Mercato as well as nearby local stores that had what i needed, even distilled water for my CPAP machine. Easy checkin process. Driver available for additional fee which was great for ride to airport.
Apartment was just as advertised. Host arranged for transfer to the airport and we would suggest other guests to take advantage of this service because it cost about the same as a taxi but better overall experience. The host responded quickly to all of our questions. We were also provided with two phone numbers to call during business hours and after hours for emergencies, which we fortunately didn’t need! The building has an elevator. The bedroom faces the inner courtyard for quiet sleeping. The building is located in a residential neighborhood, a three minute walk to the Testaccio market, grocery stores, cafes. About a 7 minute walk to the Piramide metro station, with plenty of tram and bus services steps from the apartment. We enjoy exploring the city on foot so the location was perfect for walking along the Tiber. The historic centre of Rome was about a half hour walk, or a few bus stops.
