Nyth yr Eryr consists of a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and vacuum, a dining room, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of two doubles, along with a shower room. Outside, there is a walled front lawn, side patio, and roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. The property is easily accessible by train, within a 5 minute walk of the main Blaenau Ffestiniog Train Station. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, dog pram available if required.. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Enjoy a splendid retreat at Nyth yr Eryr. Note: There is no TV or WiFi at the property. Note: Please mind your head on the low door frames throughout the cottage. Note: Take care on the uneven floor and narrow exit from the bathroom. The main local attractions include Zip World Slate caverns, the longest zip line in Europe and fastest in the world, this is a great underground adventure. The slate mines now hold the prestigious status of a world heritage site, awarded by UNESCO and visitors can take enthralling underground trips there to see mining as it was done in days gone by. The famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Nearby is Portmeirion village, famous for its architecture and the film set of the cult TV series The Prisoner, plus local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
