A 10-minute walk away is Caminho do Praião, where you can enjoy the calm and beauty of the estuary while walking or cycling on the bicycles we have available. A 5-minute walk away is Pinhal, with its trails that invite you to breathe in the fresh air while walking or cycling. Also close to us, you can enjoy the Gafanha do Carmo Sports Park, where you can play basketball, football or tennis with your family and friends. Children have not been forgotten, with the playground for the little ones. Naturally, those who come to visit us are looking for our fine sand beaches with their dunes protecting and beautifying our coast. About 10 minutes away by car, we find the wild Areão beach, Vagueira beach with its Xávega art, Costa Nova beach with its typical, colourful listed houses, and finally, Barra beach with its imposing lighthouse, the largest in Portugal. All of these beaches have excellent conditions for surfing, as does our estuary for kitesurfing.

A 15-minute drive towards Aveiro means immersing yourself in a charming setting of canals, colourful houses and delicious ovos moles; you’ll discover the Portuguese Venice!
