Sleepy Gull is a beautifully presented, well equipped cottage by the sea, located in the lovely village of Old Hunstanton. With a fully enclosed garden and off-road parking space, Sleepy Gull offers an easy ten minute walk down to the beach, with all local amenities within easy reach.
Sleepy Gull is a bright, comfortable and cheerful cottage, suitable for those who like to be close to the beach. Tucked back from the main road of this popular north west Norfolk village, this hideaway is beautifully presented with a fresh nautical feel making it an inviting home from home by the sea.
On the ground floor, the comfortable sitting room becomes a haven for relaxation with a wood burning stove that emits cosy warmth and romantic ambient light on chillier evenings. Hunker down to watch a film on the Smart television or indulge your competitive side by playing the board games. The well equipped kitchen features modern appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine, and offers plenty of work top space for rustling up delicious meals. A dining table for six means you can share good food and conversation as lasting holiday memories are made. Upstairs on the first floor, the master bedroom has a king-size wrought iron bed. Next to this is a luxurious bathroom. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden offers a charming spot for a morning coffee or evening drinks. And why not celebrate the sunshine and dine al fresco from the barbecue. Off-road parking for one car is available.
In Old Hunstanton you'll find an excellent beach cafe famed for its breakfasts, The Mariners and The Lodge pubs and The Neptune Michelin starred restaurant, as well as village shop and post office. Being on the Coasthopper bus route, you can walk for miles along the coast path and catch the bus back when you're feet are aching, or enjoy all the amenities and eateries of Hunstanton, Thornham and further afield. Being situated at the top of The Wash estuary Sleepy Gull is ideally located for spring and autumn bird migration enthusiasts as it is close to Titchwell, Holme and Snettisham nature reserves.
