The apartment was in a good location near the metro which made travelling around Paris easy. It had a good layout for us as a family of four. The beds were super comfy, the shower was great and the kitchen well laid out. We loved the local area and the pizza place next door was handy 1 evening. The only complaint was that we weren’t sent the code we needed to give the agent to collect up the keys at the local collection point. This caused some concern and stress however after several attempts we managed to speak to someone at checkmyguest who was able to provide this.

The apartment was in a good location near the metro which made travelling around Paris easy. It had a good layout for us as a family of four. Negligent and UnsafeThere were significant problems with both check-in and check-out: Check-in: Several days before arriving I purchased a 1pm early check-in from the host Checkmyguest (CMG). When my family and I arrived at the key pick-up (a shop), CMG had not yet shared the code to pick up the key. We were left standing on the street for more than an hour after a transatlantic flight, with kids in tears. We later learned that the key was not delivered until after 2pm. The company did not apologize, and did not respond to requests for a refund of the fee paid for early check in. Check-out: The morning of the day before check-out, I communicated that I needed to leave at 9am, although the check-out instructions said to leave it at the shop—which did not open until 10am. I received no timely response to my communication—and hence decided to drop the key at the shop. After this, we were unable to lock the property front door, and had to sleep with it open. Both my wife and I were worried about our overnight security. CMV responded after 9pm that we could leave the key in the apartment—but this was too late. Amenities: When we arrived, the hot water was not working, and was not turned on until the second day. Neither the washing machine nor the television worked. The dish washer lacked detergent, so we had to wash dishes by hand.CMG treats its guests badly. It is indifferent or negligent to their comfort and their safety.
