Welcome to Bel Oiseau, a cosy apartment in the heart of Doctor Paccard's pedestrian street in Chamonix. After skiing or hiking, enjoy the balcony with a view of the Aiguilles du Brévent. Shops at the foot of the building, 6 min from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, 900 m from Montenvers station. Sheets and towels provided.

WATER HEATER READ CAREFULLY

In France, the operation of water heaters is different from that of many other countries. Hot water is stored in a tank that can empty if there is high consumption. The time to fill and reheat the tank varies between one and five hours, depending on its capacity.



We kindly request that you avoid prolonged showers or baths, unless you are the last person to use the bathroom and can wait until the next morning to refill it.

This is an integral part of life in France, so we thank you for your understanding and consideration.



ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

In the UK, the electrical network is limited; if too many appliances (such as a hairdryer and a microwave) are used simultaneously, the circuit breaker may trip. In this case, it will need to be manually reset at the electrical panel.



Please avoid using multiple devices simultaneously: this system, very common in French households, aims to reduce energy consumption. We ask you to use only what you need.

The property is quite comfortable but gaining access to it was like an episode of the great race. Last minute instructions to an address with no street numbers or names of places, just a video that shows half of what you need to know. Car Concierge is the property manager name but in reality it is the NO care Concierge. Fortunately we received help from an employee, without which we would never have been able to enter the property. First you have to find the hidden key, then you must enter the property and apartment, with no number given, to get the fob to the parking garage.There is no access to the apartment elevator from the garage, so you must get your luggage to the entrance from the garage. The entire arrangement was farcical! Then no instructions for the apartment, not even where to empty garbage. The only advice I have is to NEVER select an apartment managed by the NO CARE CONCIERGE people!
