We had such a great stay.. Beautiful property, views of Lake Superior from almost every window..Home is huge, room for everyone to spread out...The beach is the star of the show!! Absolutely gorgeous and very privateCan't wait to come back

The home has potential but seems to be neglected for quite some time. The outside of the property is overgrown and littered. There was however lots of space and the beds were comfortable. The host was easy to get ahold of with any issues.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house needs to be loved the way it was once upon a time but it didn't cause us to not have a good time. We all agreed that for what we paid it was a good deal.

This house is both spacious and rustic. It appears to be a renovation in progress, which was fine for us. Being on Lake Superior was the big draw. Clearing away all the overgrown trees and brush from the front entrance would certainly make for a better first impression. Overall it met our needs for a long weekend. Ken was very responsive with texts. I did appreciate that for sure.

It is definitely a remoldel in progress. But that didn't stop us from having our fun. It is definitely spacious, but I would say it's a 3 bedroom not 4. It just needs a few fixes. The views are beautiful, I would definitely stay again.

The house is so overgrown it appears abandoned when you get there. No key was left for us to lock up when not there. No attempt to get us one after contacting the host. The house is disgustingly filthy, inside and out. This house is not in the middle of a remodel; someone did half of a remodel a decade ago and never finished it. Half of the lights in the house don't work. There is not a single room that is completely finished. Broken faucets, missing doorknobs, missing outlet covers, very little in the way of kitchen utensils. Basement doorway was blocked off by a carboard box. Two of the beds are in the living room. The carpet throughout the house is a mess. Sleeps 7, but there is only 4 chairs in the house. It is listed as "beautiful new home that is custom built", maybe in 1993? I would like to talk to anyone leaving a 10/10 review, you mean to tell me this house couldn't be improved upon? Only positive is the beach. We left after the first night.

The house was clean and very roomy for 6 guys on a snowmobile trip. We were very comfortable. The driveway is extremely narrow and not conducive for trailers. There is no good access to trails from this location, we were fine with leaving the trailer and riding from the casino 6 miles away.

Pet friendly. House was nice needs some repairs. Love Lake Superior being so close with stairs to the beach. Views from the decks were a little obstructed by the trees but still enjoyed our stay.

SLUM LORD Big house..that’s it. No key and no offer to bring us one (noted earlier in aug/26). We texted and he told us he just found out that morning the guest that just left took it and were going by to mail it. Straight up lie! Pulled in and couldn’t even see the house with the overgrowth. Walked in and had a smell (husband had to replace his cpap hose when we got home because the smell permeated it) Floors were swept and carpet just shampooed and wet..still covered in stains (noted in reviews years ago). Less than half the lights work. Missing switch plates. Exposed wires. Broken toilets. Mold around shower on main floor. Can’t hardly open kitchen cabinets. Bring your own pans unless you want to eat teflon flakes. Only a couple screens. Smoke detectors missing batteries. Door knobs missing. Holes and rot in roof on porch. Sliding glass door doesn’t lock(noted in ‘22). Pillows in master were yellow and dated 2018.. they were obviously used before he started as he started in 2019.. Missing toilet paper rod. Missing knobs for upstairs shower. Broken lawn chairs(noted by others). Beer cans all over property. Disgusting leather furniture on the porch. Beach was trashed. Welcome letter said the beach deck had an issue in October. Closest October was 10 months ago and the debris field out there looks several years old(left in a pile with overgrowth). Letter also said let him know of issues so they can be taken care of. Yeah right. Don’t stay here.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and right on Lake Superior! Location was awesome for all the sightseeing we did, wasn’t far from most of the places we went to! The owner was quick to respond to any needs we had while there! Neighbors were all very friendly!

Perfect location

The house is in a remodel phase. If you're looking for a budget friendly house on Lake Superior, this is the place. It is no Hilton, yet, more of a Budget Inn. It has so much potential to be an amazing home. Check in was a breeze. Ken responded quickly whenever I reached out to him. Our favorite part was the beach. Quiet and secluded and a rock hunters paradise. We would stay again.

Adult family UP vaca

Great stay! We had one little issue and Ken offered to fix it right away. Comfortable beds. Listened to soothing Lake Superior waves all day and night. Very enjoyable!
